The fascia you've bought looks to be a standard Double Din fitment, therefore I doubt any model specific stereos would fit.

You must have deep pockets if you've ordered a complete double din set up from the dealership.
Did you order everything required including the metal support cage and lower console?

There's a few of those Xtrons headunits you can fit, just make sure you order the industry standard double din size with square corners.
Also, you can buy those particular models on eBay or Alixpress considerably cheaper.

+1 Fitting a double din isn’t particularly cheap or easy. I looked into it and decided to stay with the single din unit. Nice setup you have there – I’m well jealous!

Hi there.

Nowadays it's pretty simple to install one of these onto a double din fascia. It's worse when you wanna DIY on a single din fascia.

This is the unit advertised as designed for Seat Leon 1M:
http://xtrons.co.uk/pb76mtwap-7-hd-digital-octa-core-64bit-32gb-2g-ram-android-6-multi-touch-screen-car-dvd-player-custom-fit-for-volkswagen-seat-skoda.html

Just keep away from android radios with only 1G of RAM. They can't beat a snail!!

The double din format is universal on the "inside hardware cage" - the problem is the outside surround border that comes in different shapes and sizes. Keep measurements accurate.

Also check Joying units: https://www.carjoying.com/joying-new-android-6-0-car-stereo-with-gps-navigation/android-6-0-car-stereo-2-din.html

Regards

Iv not ordered the metal support cage or lower console yet? Where is the best place to get them from?

TPS or source some used bits on eBay or one of the many selling groups on Facebook.

I wouldn't touch anything other than 3gb ram with android imo.
Os use 1.5gb android n as standard so updating something with 1/2gb will be near impossible and the manufacturer knows this. It's why there cheaper, because an update just won't happen with these units

That kit is for the installation of a standard double din headunit into a later Toledo / Altea which came with a model specific factory fitted unit, hence the odd shaped fascia plate.

Any head unit will fit .. but mostly all you need to buy a universal fitting cage as the ones that come with the head units don't fit f**k all

Yep standard double din size I have the Pioneer AVIC-F80DAB with full reversing camera setup too.

Love it
