Double Din Stereo Help!!!!

Hi there,

I have an 09 Cupra and want to upgrade the stock stereo to a Double Din unit.

My car has factory fitted bluetooth which I dont want to sacrifice (if installing a different stereo would do that??) as I quite like how the phone-book currently comes up on the dash.

So I'm just wondering what the best units people have currently installed if someone would point me in the direction of a product / fitting etc.

Ideally I would like Ipod connection with the steering wheel controls to remain active to the new unit. Not too fussed about Sat Nat but if the price was right would consider.

PS..I did a search on here which came up with a few listings for the OEM RCD510? is this any good??

I upgraded mine to an RCD 310 unit

The RCD 510 is the same but just with a touch screen. Looks better, I'd prefer this just coz it looks a bit flash with a touch screen but does not have sat nav.

Not sure about iPods as I don't have one, but all the steering wheel controls work perfectly.

I know if you have the face lift version with the CUP (Combined USB and AUX port) then the iPod/iPhone will stick work as normal.

No mines pre face lift. Think I'm going to take the plunge with the rcd 510 - wish me luck installing it lol
