Still on the subject does the decat pipe come flanged on both sides,already have a cat back magnex fitted dont fancy cutting the exhaust to fit.

Mine was the downpipe an sports cat nothing had to be cut straight fit I'd assume same for downpipe an decat, am glad I went cat save hassel of swapping it over Mot time
yeah but he only has the downpipe bit and not the cat part, so could simply just get a custom jobby to mate up from this downpipe to a cupra r cat back. if that makes sense
Ahh yes, very true. The only 3-bolt flange on a LCR is the turbo, the rest is 2-bolt but from his photo, has another 3-bolt flange at the opposite end which will not fit any of the LCR exhaust system. Custom job it is then!

Any exhaust fabrigcator should be able to mock you up a decat pipe to fit, it's just a case of welding on a different flange onto the DP side. I can;t see pics here at work but how do you mean modified?

The 90degree pipe has a blocked off lambda hole and another one has been made in a different place. But what i now want to know is if this will fit my car. If not i will be very pissed off and mikey_b can have it back and ill want a refund, but to me it looks the same shape(ish) as yours.

I'll have a look at mine later to see where the lamda hole is. Your DP looks a slightly different shape, but it's really hard to tell as it's in bits. The TT 225 DP has to work round parts of the Quattro system which is why it might have a couple more bends or kinks in but in theory should go in. The thing is, you could bolt this new DP on and find out that you need a completely custom decat made up as the direct replacement decat for an LCR might not be the right length etc.

Yea i think its the 4x6 oval i wanted close to standerd looking as possible, Also if i could upload vids i got a couple with the new setup an Jam yea sounds good cost me 100£ so close enough ul love it mate oh an if i was u get a full tank of petrol ul be driving sprited bit more

i think i am going to order a pipewerx 3" with a 100 cell cat soon.
not happy with my milltek..welds where poor and it sounds standard.
how mutch did u pay for your 3" 4x6 magnex?
I paid £150 I think off a guy on here Its done about 13k miles an still looks new really worth getting the pipewerx setup really good

Performanse wise it's nuts, really planted and just keeps going, sound wise I have no idea, the car is well sound deadned but it's defo deeper and louder.
i drive everywhere with my windows down lol an just smile everywhere an for proformance it awsome the pull is so much better want to do a tunnel run later
