DPF nd REMAP

can you do both and would it make much of a difference with the dpf off?

Hi mate, yeah you can do both and it makes a massive difference I believe, with a custom map and the dpf off, around 230 bhp can be obtained.

The Search function is your friend on this one mate just type in DPF Remap and it will give you all the info you need.

i hav a tdi sport not the fr would it still be able 2 manage bout 200bhp?

Ah, I see thought it was an FR. The sport is the 140 BHP engine it doesnt have a DPF fitted, only the 170 BHP found in the FR has it. This and the turbo is also bigger in the FR 170 engine are the only differences between the two engines really.

The 140BHP engine remaps to around 185-190bhp so with that and a k and n panel filter fitted along with a cat back exhaust which will be less restrictive you will be near 200bhp mate. Give East Coast Customs a call in Lisburn and they will sort you out.
