Dreaded water leak issue

Hi guys

I've been through the posts of the various root causes of the water leak issue (door and slot seals).

For the life of me I can't find a supplier for the lower window slot seals (which is where I have water coz I can hear it swishing around in the door).

Can anyone suggest a supplier.

Have you had a look for drain holes along the bottom edge of the door. Screwdriver pokey pokey?
I know seats have their (water) problems but never heard of them making a sloshing noise!

Parts suplies...The local Dealers,TPS or ebay i would have thought.

Yeah, have done the obvious stuff. Doors are drained now, and draining well, but the root cause is the slot seals have perished.

Can't find them on TPS and the local dealers want $$$$!

Id (if you havnt already) ring TPS and ask for the part you need.
Never found their website to be anything other that utter crap.

I have suffered this problem literally for years and even followed the great photo guide on here on how to reseal the door. All to no avail ?
However last year given I could not find out how the water was getting into the drivers footwell other than via the door seals or window I decided to place some towelling over the door seal and guess what its stopped the water in the footwell problem. Ok a pain having to remember to replace it whenever the car is parked up but I will live with that rather than that musty smell.?
