Dunno if anyone an help I have lowered my leon s on coilovers and the drive shaft is rubbing on the anti roll bar I have tried adjustable drop links but they don't work it still rubs I have tried various heights for it don't realy wanna hire the car up thanks in advance

Looking to fit springs and shocks with a 40mm lowering - would you recommend a big loop arb? Heard too many horror stories about lowering the tdi and it's putting me right off the idea

I've got rubbing on passenger side only when taking right hand bends.....40mm drop. No rubbing on drivers side when taking left handers. I've always had the suspicion, and now the proof that the rubbing was at the end of the ARB ,where it gets much wider than the round bit.Ive just been out with a hacksaw and cut some off the end flange. Gonna go for a test drive in a Mo.

As you can see, I've applied white paint on the inside of the hoop several 10 s of miles ago. It's still there so no rubbing in that area, but I've STILL got the bloody noise even after the piece was hacksawed off !!
I'm at my wit's end now.......

No it's not a rumbling noise at all....it's more like brake pad squeak.....maybe it's not the driveshaft rubbing at all but I always assumed it was as it's an on off on off noise conversant with wheel speed.....gonna give all pads a light sanding/lube and go from there......

BOth of my front callipers are coming off this weekend as they need a service to stop rubbing on the discs, which is heightened by them being drilled and grooved so its quite noticeable, but only when turning corners!

Well.....took rear pads out and re-lubed all contact surfaces and the rubbing is no more !!!
Regards the ARB, if i disconnect both drop links to take all tension off it, the gap between top of driveshaft and inside of hoop is approx 15mm bigger on the passenger side than the drivers side.Does this mean that the ARB is bent I wonder......

And I suppose,as I have some adjustable links,i should not try to force the drivers side of the ARB up relative to the passenger side,in order to try to equal the gaps out a bit ?
