Model Year 22/23 Drivers side mirror replacement issues

I’ve just had my drivers side mirror(RHD) replaced as the previous one was ripped out by vandals. Trouble is, the only second hand mirror I could find was from a LHD formentor and I wasn’t aware that there was a difference in mirror characteristics, what this means is the mirror now shows a lot less of the road as I am not able to move it out enough and instead I see 75% my car and only a small fraction of the road. Is this something that can be fixed with a replacement mirror that is convex or will I need to change the whole module all over again but this time from a RHD formentor? Or is there another fix that I can do to resolve this which is a bit more cost effective.

Does the left-hand drive mirror have a memory function, meaning it lowers when reversing? If not, install the motor for adjusting your defective mirror.

I’ll be honest I’m not sure as my car doesn’t have a function when I put the mirror into R for it to dip as it’s RHD so when I put it into L the left hand mirror drops only. I also do not have the mirror that I am replacing as it was stolen so I do not have an additional motor to put into the new mirror

The drivers side mirror (RHD, not sure about LHD) is larger. I remember a thread about it a while ago, which made me notice it on mine. That's probably your issue. So I suspect the only sure solution is to find a RHD drivers side mirror unfortunately
