driveshaft bolts wtf

ok, they're not allen or torx, they are finer than torx, any ideas? i need to take the drive shaft out to undo the last bolt on my sump.

12 point heads. you can get the driver bits from halfords.

Make sure you use locktight or a similar thread locking application on the bolts and make sure there tight as they can come loose, happened at work a a v6 galaxy bolts came loose even tho they were torqued up to the correct torque, came loose and driveshaft end smashed through the gearbox casing, wasnt pretty so just double check

You need spline bits! M8 if I remember!

Better get new ones from the dealer because I rounded everyone of them before!

Flaper got a ford part number for allen bolt ones instead.

mork popped round earlied and dropped of the tool bit, cheers though guys (cheers mark)
