Driving on the space saver

Got a flat tonight and put the space saver on. The TCS has been going a bit spastic, pretty much flashes constantly no matter how slow I accelerate and even at a constant speed of 40mph its flashing constantly, won't really let me go above it. Got so annoyed I just have to keep TCS off.

Hope this is normal???

coz the space saver is ment for the back wheels your not ment to put it on the front

Is the space saver smaller than the standard wheel? If so it will be going round faster and the TCS will think it's spinning.
