how many people on here drive with there tcs off ??
this morning i had a play with a focus st on the way to work.i took a roundabout well hard and the tcs light come on and slowed me down resulting in me way behind and could not catch him:(:(but if i had it off i would of kept up fine.....so how many people drive with there off

Depends how much money have left for fuel :-o last week of moth usually dirve in 5th everywhere :p

Usually its off though, annoys me

i only turned mine off last year when i was running worn tyres and the TCS kicked in all the time, and over the winter when i wanted to drift in the snow.

haven't turned it off in months now, plenty of grip with new sportcontact 3s and 4wd ;)

Mine always used to be flashing like mad when i first got my Cupra but over the past few months i've slowly learnt how to drive quick but without the TCS kicking in. I rarely drive with it off (the light drives me mad). I drive through Milton Keynes daily so i have learnt how to take roundabouts quickly :p

The only time i do have it flashing is in the wet but i think thats down to my cack tyres.

Off most of the time, with very stiff suspension it goes into overdrive when lifting a wheel:)
Be careful when you have it off, don't make the first time when you drive with it off when your pushing on against another car, best do alot of testing with just you in the car and just you on the road.
Unless you have suspension mods better off going slower into roundabouts and get a low gear to get a good launch out of the round about

this is the first car ive had with tcs on and ive had lots of very quick cars;);).ive got my lowering kit to be fitted when i get some spare time:D:D

Always off for me as I don't want to have power reduced just to tame a little wheelspin. It's not really a safety aid - more a driver aid - and I don't want one of those thanks...

I have mine turned off, can cut in even when going over uneven roads.

And the TC is too aggresive in cutting the power, can leave you in no mans land when you really need the power.

The last time I decided to turn the TCS off I pressed the button and it shot up and hit the roof! still haven't found the bloody spring.

Now SEAT wants £30 for another one!

To answer your question thought it's now permanently off :)

Keep mine on all the time, although just got back from a little play in which i took it off. Results in the wet were very interesting, and resulted in some "brown pant" moments around roundabouts

Mine is off at the moment not through choice though my front right abs senseor is playing up. PITA in the wet. I had a ctr before lcr and I used to dread rainy days as no tcs on them. Long story short no tcs no fun in the rain

off all the time, still can get esp to kick in when really pushing hard round fast bends etc.

i keep mine on usually, especially in the wet.the only time i turn it off is when i know im going for a burn up.like when im at the lights and a scoobie revs up next to me.1 click, off and launch

brand new goodyear eagle F1 tires plus uprated dog bone = no wheel spin (unless really wet) so TC turned off when i want a little fun[B)]
