Yeah if you mount them on the floor like that and have an accident god forbid. They compress you shoulder into you spine! You need to get a cage in there with a harness anchoring bar on it or weld in a bar if you not fitting a cage.

Well I added 120bhp to my car....by adding a 106 GTI to it haha. Picked up this lil gem cheap. So that's two new cars

Bought some LED rear lights back when FK had there sale, down from £250 to £98 so happy with that. Think they'r really subtle make the arse end look abit more modern. Also the cleanest thing in the car just now.

LED's look good mate. I'm going to tint mine down slightly with a tint that dan underwood has used on his golf. Just a light grey tint nothing ott..

Think you need to clean the rest of the car now :p

Loving the french sluts. Flame on ;)

The flaps also bullied me into buying one of these. I didn't argue with her to much

My i-level box has been sat in corner of my room for while so thought I'd get my arse in gear and fit it. For those who don't know this box allows me to control my suspension totally using my iPhone/iPad. I can run fault diagnostics, turn on other functions and change tank pressure. Pretty smart bit of kit.....any real need no just ****ing showing off tbh

Just plug and play really simple to fit, went to show the missus my hard work and ****ing thing had no range at all ( much to her amusement) so much she took a photo of my fail. Found out now the box needs to be mounted outside car so that's a job for when the weather is better.

Chucked my new golf aero wipers on. Must admit they sit much nicer and lower much better.

New rubber time!

As I'm sure non of you will know I'm down in Norfolk just now learning how to run jet engines like a boss, on way down I did notice that my tyres where getting whoora low on the inner wall. After some interneting I found these affa helpful ***** in Norwich. Recomended by mike-R, Who sorted me out with some new kuhmos for the alphards in 215/40/18 on a 8.5 inch rim just like I had before. They even let me try the 205/40 on for a look but IMO they looked gash, it didn't sit any lower and don't think it would handle all that great either.

In other news I'm without door cards and gear knob as they are away with a dash, handbrake gaiter and R32 wheels getting trimmed in black alacantara with matching orange stitching.

I also got a email saying I'm in the Top 50 at Scottish car show, I know it's a chav fest but I'm still pretty chuffed never had a car in a real show before. Will be in Glasgow the Saturday before the show fitting the trimmed bits along with a quick detail. I'd have liked to have gotten the front bumper sprayed, polish the wheel faces and the whole car detailed but as I'm in Norfolk non of that will be getting done.

Are you still coming to VAGabonds next weekend ?

I am indeed heading to that, my 1st show of the year :funk:

Looking great as always! Did you fit you 6 pots? I'm in the market for some should you not get round to fitting them ;)

Iv still got the 6 pots and everything to fit them bar R32 discs once I order some of them I'm ready to roll and stick them on, just been slacking with actually doing stuff to the car recently.

Yes I cut the actual blade itself at the end, I marked it out and took a junior hacksaw to it, refitted the wi end cap with some black silicon and away I went.

Looks as if its meant to be there, will need to do the same to new blades later on but it's a 10 min job
