Got in my tdi 140 the last 2 mornings and clutch pedal has dropped. I've been able to pull it back up to its normal position and its seems to work fine after that. Doesnt seem to be any issues with the pedal itself, more a hydraulic issue given the lack of resistance on the pedal.

Does this sound like the master cylinder? Any ideas what this costs to sort?

Thanks in advance

When I uprated my clutch the slave cylinder was done as well @ £30 + £40 labour.

Thanks for the replies, had the master cylinder changed yesterday and system bled. Lo and behold the same problem with the clutch on the floor this morning
