ive been for a spin in my 5 week old boc, and im not getting any rattles or nocking ? hopefully mine doesnt start doing that, would P*** me right off after the troubles ive had with seat

Try driving it relatively slowly near to walls/buildings with the passenger window down, thats the only time i hear anything

i hear a little thud when sitting still changing from D to P but thats all i hear ? its like something is disengaging :S

ive drove in a multi story car park at night along side a big wall going slow? cant hear a thing? hope mine isnt effected in the future, when i bought my boc 5 weeks ago, they told me ive got the revised tfsi engine and the revided dsg gearbox :s if anybody knows what im on about please tell me lol

Sorry to burst ya bubble but I never noticed mine doing it when it was new but now 7100 miles later it's quite apparent. As said before over speed bumps in confined roads is when it is at it's loudest.

Just done a 1600 mile (2200 on the clock) round trip in my Boc and the thing sounds like a bag of nails !! Constant rattling all the time at all speeds and in all gears, plus clunking when i take it out of drive when stationary, Have to say not disappointed with the performance, bin goin like stink on the motorways !! Gonna mention it Monday to the dealer as its gotta go in for other work ( see my link Bocanegra wiring fault)

Any DSG issues that you feel strongly about I would recommend you e-mail [email protected]

He is the journalist from the Auto Express that put my story in the magazine

If he receives many e-mails it will prove how unhappy owners are

Mines done 6k now, goin to test it out tonight near a wall goin slow, will see if it rattles!!, if it does i will be sendin him a email and goin to Seat themselves and demandin an explaination, 16k car shouldnt make these sort of noises if u ask me! :/

Just been out in the car and wen i take it out of P to Drive it make a noise like its selecting gear thats all, wen u put a manual car in gear it makes a noice like that if u will... Unless its ment to be completly silent..? Not sure but it does make a noice wen i select drive!
