I have a 2003 seat leon cupra (AUQ),
This is my first turbo car so i am not a genius with these things.
I was just wondering if you guys could help me with my confusion as to what the black thing is
Next to the forge splitter r DV.
I thought it was the standard RV but not too sure.
Surly it should be running both if it is.
I have just realised as a newbie on here i cant post pics yet but the part code is written on the flat round top of this part. It is PA6GF30 if anyone would like to take a look for me.
I bought the car as it is so not to sure on some of the mods.
Thanks in advance guys.

Thats the one. Thanks for that. Just having a few problems with car at minuet thats all and trying to see whats what. I have notices some people have the 4mm silicone tube from the 4 bar regulator to the top of the dv where as mine goes to the underneath of the inlet. Just not sure if things are done correctly on mine. There is also what looks like 4 metal tubes all next to each other sticking up with nothing connected to them. Its like a maze to me lol

I have heard a few people say splitter r's are no good but also hear a few people say there good if you have them set right for your car, i just set mine to a different setting, just waiting to try it out wen i go out in it tomorrow. Im having bad engine stutter where it bogs and wont give full boost in any gear around 3.5k rpm and wanting to try some different things to see if it works as i dont have a clue whats causing it.

perform a smoke leak test and you will see why they can cause issues

non sealing piston, by design... they just leak.

Any car with a MAF expects all measured are to stay inside the system, Split-R is an air leak.
It may work OK for some, but a recirculating valve will always be better.
Stuttering will be a vacuum leak somewhere and throttle body needs a good clean.
Both the DV and FPR should be connected to the mani, either via a T piece or on individual nipples.

Mine are both connected to the inlet via there own nipples. When i put foot down fast or slow it constantly sounds like its suckin loads of air really loudly. I have been in another leon cupra with turbo smart dump valve and some other mods and theirs did not sound like this. Could it be the "leak" your talking about?
