DV Flutter

Noticed today that I'm getting a fluttering noise rather than the normal dumping sound from the DV when letting off the accelerator today and car feels more flat than usual.
N249 gone screwy???
Not got VAG-COM back on my laptop at mo so can't check for fault codes.

What DV do you have?
Accelerate hard and lift off, does it make the same noise?

Lol sorry forgot to put it was doing it with my 007p so tried the standard bosch unit back in and just the same.

You haven't got any pipe leaks in the hoses that connect to the DV, possibly from where the jubilee clips could have overtightened?

Other than that what about the N75 valve; does it affect the DV?

Yeah, check the vac hose from the top of the DV back to the N249, check the "Y" rubber hose for splits...

Mines also doin this Flutters like a rite Bi*ch When booting an letting off, Altho only started with the Dynatwist and new exhasut an just assumed it was ment to be.

Just found a split the size of the grand canyon in the Y hose. Bothched until I can sort it prop tomorrow.

Superglue is good - not a permanent repair, though.

make sure u get that fixed as doesnt let the air escape properly. its chatter i tihnk that ur hearing, and will lead to a knackered turbo like.

I had the same problem on my cupra with the forge 007, turns out the vacuum pipe had split and come off the top of it. Did sound great tho

Superglue is good - not a permanent repair, though.

Was such a hole that the top of the Y physically feel off when I poked it. Taped up until tomorrow.

My old LCR was in with SEAT for 2 days for the same issue. Stealth Racing in Banbury fixed it in 10 minutes.

Duck tape sorted my split of the gods, told tho the flutter means my dump is buggered.
New one and "y" pipe this weekend. £40 seat supply, not that bad.
PLEASE GIVE ME MY COOP BACK!
