just that they're very much an unknown

what's their history of VAG cars, how long have they been doing it, where do the files come from, what experience do the tuners have, when editting the file to 'dumb it down' what are they actually doing, can you adjust it for different fuels, poor weather, dealership trips, security features

this is all stuff to consider, not just whether it'll make the car fast

eg, Revo & APR will have mapped 000's of VW group cars each - how many have emaps done.... what proof of reliability is there

I'm not saying it's a poor product, but the first I read of them was when Si got it done.... and that was their first LCR. can't have been more than 3 months ago.

Your money, your choice, but like I said, there's more to a product than how cheap it is

quite agree with u there m8.
it might be worth paying the extra to have a revo or apr
thats why i asked if anyone had one done
 i dont know what to do now
i might c if i can get a revo trail to c how that goes but i live that far away from a company what is doing it is it worth me travelling just for a trail

why dont you have the trial drive it round for an hour, im sure youl be able to know in an hour then go back, that way your not making two journeys

thanx for the help rudd on the gs reading will get that done is that, presume moving along and taking it to red line?
as for the trials from what i was told it goes back to the trial standard ie you get revo trial it will after 5hours go back to standard revo settings, plus im not as its messed my car up some how so am trying apr seeming as their doing it for 375 quid plus you can get a free 6 hour trial of that to!!
as for giving it an hour from what bbt give it a couple to see what its like then get it, plus with trial you dont get full power as you should, yet again according to BBT!!
