I had a Dakar yellow m3 Evo about 7 years ago( iv a thing for yellow cars) and I had an smg version . Although good when I first got it I had a fair few problems with it mostly electrIcal. It was a bit of a novelty but wish I'd searched out a manual version instead. Servicing cost a packet and needs more of it tO keep it tip top!
Did like the car and the sound of it especially with the dtm exhaust On it! I'm guessing there are a few ropey ones around now too! As said above lots are nearly 20 years old!we have members on here younger!
Ak

Id have one in a heartbeat if i could insure it. At 20 years old ive a few years to go to il be able to insure one lol have drove a few and hands down there the most fun to drive, id have one over any skyline or supra etc, the noise they make with a up-swept exhaust is immense!

i absolutely love bm's i've had 5 3 325i e30's a 318iS e36 and a 328i E36 the only reason i didnt get another one was insurance. E36 M3 EVO was over 3k for me to insure apposed to the £900 on the lcr. (btw im 24) the m3 is an animal and WILL catch you out especially if u have never owned a RWD i had my first at the age of 18 took it to a car park (private ish lol) and practiced so i got the feel of its grip levels in the dry and wet (wet about 1,500 rpm) just take it easy for a bit to start with and u will be fine.

as for reliability if it sounds gd with no oil leaks and fsh u shouldnt have any problems.

good luck.

Well, the females in my life said they would stop touching my penis if I got rid of 'the beast'

Unfortunately I like having my penis touched too much to take the chance so I'll be staying FWD for a bit :'(

Females! How many have you got touching you then!? Lol

If I had the choice between the two cars again I would honestly take the Cupra.

DO IT! BUY ONE! In my opinion nothing comes close for the money.

Had a M3 Evo for 18 months as a daily driver, brilliant car. I was fortunate enough to find one with 2 previous owners, and almost all the extras. Very little trouble with the car, providing as they've been well cared for.

Any questions, just shout!

They are around 1300kg, so the same or less than a Leon. When on quality rubber they give plenty of warning when on the limit's. .

Parkers:
M3 evo 1535kg
Leon Cupra R 1376kg

Had new tyres all round on mine and still found it stepped out far too easily, even in the dry tbh. Just my experience though

My old man used to have a e30 m3 evolution left hand drive it was mint, i still have a soft spot for all the m3 range . E30 was a propa bad boy drifter and i suppose there collectable now aswel as most of them was wrapped around trees . I would have one anyday its just running cost really . There is a new m3 up the road from me and i love the car ,the bloke belts it about like a mad man

Maybe one day i will own one :)
