EBC Red stuff vs Ferodo ds2500

My cupra r needs new front pads, considering either of these two, whats your opinions on the one to go for? cheers

EBC pads ain't all that I found red stuffs to be crap to be honest, vague and cause high temps very quick, ferodo all day long chap

I'm gettin some red stuff but I'm getting them for £30 of a mate as I need rid of these pagid ****, if I had the money I'd prob try the omp carbon compound ones or if spending the money go for the ds2500

I have These in my porker fronts they are epic stop like a seagull hitting a window!! would have gone ferodo but as the calipers were sold with new Mintex pads I stuck with those...

EBC pads are also know to de laminate. I've got DS2500 but have heard the mints are good also DS3000

I fancy trying the omp ones, at half the brick its worth a pop!

Using standard brembo pads the now and they are rather plop

i agree about the red stuff. i have the ds2500 comps and the best pad i have ever had.

where abouts are the omp pads sold??

I fitted EBC red stuff about 3 years ago,took my leon for a service at a local SEAT Dealers & they found 3 out of the 4 pads the lining came away from the back of the pad!! Very dangerous & got on to EBC D:;.,t ( pity i cant name & shame them,but you get the idea) didn't want to know.

I think the red green and yellows are the worst for it, the oe style ebc's seem not to de laminate just the performance ones, that's just backwards and wrong nether the less
