I've always been under the impression that these "gadgets" arent worth the time or money, and are, in their essence, a bad idea anyway

well personally i've just never liked the fact that 1) it connects to your brake servo
2) it bleeds air into your inlet manifold
and 3) unless you spend another £20, all you have filtering the air is a gauze
