ECU Software

Ive been told by an independent specialist that the dealers done a ECU software upgrade on the 2-0 TDi since its introduction in 2004/5. if anyone has details or had this done as a recall could they let me know? Thanks folks.

there is an ecu 'flash' which is only done in response to a specific complaint by the customer - its not a recall or an improvement applicable to all cars. it is aimed mainly at DPF equipped cars (170bhp) to help avoid the regeneration light coming on so often. hope this helps.
