Hello,
just been given a seat arosa 1.4 1999 passed down from 2 sisters. It keeps cutting out when coming to a junction or rounabout. I am a new driver, so i thought it may have been just me at first. I've had a few other people drive it and it does the same.
I've read a few other posts and it seems a common problem in arosa's, what should i check first? i've read something about a fuel filter?
Thanks :help:

Check the throttle body (under the air filter) - they get gunked up with oil residue and the car can't 'breathe' properly. You can clean them out with some carb cleaner (or grab a handy mechanic-type, then you don't have to get mucky ;))

Your car is 10years old now and probably requires some TLC. It would be a good idea to give it to a main dealer for a major service but tell them about the fault and they will hopefully sort it out for you at the same time.
