I haven't but the one thing I would be wary of is that the EGR recirculates hotter gas into the emissions which is better for the DPF.
Will aid warmup of the engine, but EGR actually lowers EGT's as with less available oxygen you get lower combustion temps and less NOX emissions. It's the entire reason EGR is even present - NOX. I am getting higher EGT's and DPF temp readings with the EGR disabled, so it's actually better for the DPF!
Oddly enough whilst NOX emissions do in fact increase without EGR, Soot production decreases, as there is more O2 available. Soot is a lack of air, and EGR is a double edged sword, as it is your DPF's enemy. I am monitoring my DPF loads to see if this is in fact reality, and I figure I have potentially increased NOX, but lowered soot production.
I'm now about to finally turn on the water meth, lowering my EGT's and thus NOX ( in theory! ).
