Egr fault code will not go away

Engine management light appeared so i got it checked out and it came up with an EGR fault so i got replaced. Light came back on the next day took it back and it cane up with same code they checked it and deleted the light. 20miles later light came back on.

Does anyone know why this would happen as the garage doesn't seem to have a clue. Car drives fine just want to make sure.

Welcome, your best chance of a reply would be to post in the section of the forum applicable to your vehicle, Leon, Ibiza, etc and which model , Mk1, Mk2 etc.

Had a reply already advising me to consider a remap and map out the egr fault, might just do that.
