Hi,

Which springs should i go for - eibach sportline or pro kit? any comments on these would be very helpful.

Having had both, I would go with Sportline due to better ride and nicer appearance (slightly lower).

No. The Pro Kit is stiffer but in my opinion the car handles better with the Sportlines.

Alright, just out of curiosity....did you tell your insurance with the mod? if so, did your insurance go up? not sure if i should tell them or not...

Idf you planning on a few mods maybe tell them about all that your planning on dioing as you will get at least a £40 admin charge for changing your policy.
Best to tell then, saves you a load of hastle and saves you driving illegally

Does that apply to the TDI FR aswell lads.

PS Anyone used APEX springs before and got an opinion on them, just out of curiosity?

Apex are pretty much an entry level suspension brand and can be harsh and crashy on the road.

Cool, cheers that rules them out (not that they could be more crashy than the standard TDI suspension lol).

Any others to stay well away from folks or any more to recommend (obviously this is individual opinion but seems that there are a lot of people wanting to change suspension setup on the mk2).

What about coilovers aswell?

Also if anyone has prices they can add that would be spot on. Good mods Good prices

Yeah Eibach quote for the Sportlines at the rear 30-35mm, for the Pro's at the rear 30mm, that's why I jsut said roughly the same.

Ah, right!! I'm a little slow on the uptake sometimes......

Are they an improvement over standard springs? Or are they just lower with the same feeling?

All the customers we've sold them to have said it's improved the handling and ride quality no end over the standard setup. It also looks a lot better.
