electric folding mirror problem

Went out to my car this morning turned the ignition on and only one of the mirrors folded out. Tried to turn off / on again a few times to no avail. Tried using manual switch to no avail.

Got to work and the other mirror will now not fold in. I'm presuming a fuse has blown. The mirrors have been squeeking a lot lately and I'm wondering whether, with the recent cold spell, ice / water has got in there and either seized it or caused a short curcuit which has now blown the fuse.

Anybody else had this problem?

Yeah I had that problem with one mirror ended up being the motor. Got it fixed under warranty

Cheers rageuk. Strangely, after not working all day yesterday, I came out this morning and they're working again!

Could be an intermittent fault with the motor I suppose.

My windows do this. Take it to the dealer and they will replace under warranty without issue

Yeah, got the same problem on mine. Right mirror only folds part way in sometimes. Other times works just fine if not a little slower than the other one! Will be getting the dealer to sort it.
