Does anyone else get a slight shock when you have been driving anc close the door

I think it's to do with the clothes you have on generating the static as you are steering and changing gear

I nearly always get a static shock when I get out of the passenger seat but nobody else in the car does. Maybe it's just my shoes....or low profile tyres?
I didn't get it at all on the pre-facelift FR but now I get it often in the post-facelift FR. Coincidence?

Try getting some 0AWG and attach it to the -ve terminal and then to a ground point.

yeah i used to get static shocks all the time, but now its gone! i think its to do with clothes and rubbing against the seat etc....

I sometimes get this too, think it's to do with the weathers aswell. I just let the Misses get out first and discharge it!

get this in the caddy at work alot (wearing hi vis jacket maybe why?) have a habit of pushing the door shut with my elbow, people look at me weirdly, i shut the ddor like that on the ibiza too but i dont get shocks from it?!

Touch a piece of metal inside the car before you get out and that will discharge it.
Either that or get a couple of earthing strips like all the boy racers used to fit to there cars in the 80's.
