electric window sensors

hi

has any1 else had trouble with their electric windows with the mk4 ibiza.
i press the button 4 my window to go up, and it does, then comes straight back down.
It doesnt happen all of the time, but it happens on a frequent basis, i took it to seat under my warranty and they have reset the window sensors 3 times bcoz apparently that was the problemo, but its just started happening agen and i feel like puttin a sledge hammer through my car. Has any1 experienced this problem, and if so, does any1 know how to resolve it
This shouldnt happen on a brand new car

it's probably the anti-squeeze mechanism that's supposed to sense if your fingers are in the window. Lubricate the window runners with some PTFE spray to smoothe it out a bit.

If you have lowered it and the ride is hard the bumps in the road can trigger the auto reverse on the windows


if you have stock suspension just clean or lube the rubbers
