Hi all, some of you may know i have been having a right mare with my 1.4 sport.
Below is SOME of the diagnostic info i have.
Now the strange part is it being all electrical but i cant see an issue with any wiring.
The background is that my power steering pump broke (electric/hybrid unit) and this was replaced. My battery also went flat so i got a new one online that was bigger and more powerful. since then if i turn my steering wheel quickly i can feel the pump not working as it should but when i turn it slower its fine. That and my brake lights are stuck on.
So i am thinking...... would the bigger battery cause this fault? Or could there be an issue with the alternator?
Can i test how much voltage the alternator should be putting out. Or how many amps?
One of the faults points to the high voltage circuit and one to the supply voltage?
