In my hunt for around 300 bhp iv come across the eliminator kits from vagworx . The garret gt28r is 1800 quid with high flow manifold , 550cc injectors and pump also 3inch tip. I will also buy a forge fmic and 4 bar fpr and get it fitted and mapped by jbs ( custom code phase3 ). But iv been looking at ihi kits from jbs which are more expencive, which one is best and are the atp high flow manifolds any good cos iv heard bad things.

When i was talking to james at JBS he wasn't impressed at all by the eliminators, he thought they were poo.

Although i did like my GT2X, but that was the smallest of the 3 and my new setup GT2871R on equal length mani is no more laggy.

My advice is, do it the way you want the first time, i have done 3 conversions on mine now, and iam happy now. I would recommend the IHI kit, even if you have to save a little longer it'll be worth it, trust me!!!!

PS how do you know you will be happy with 300 BHP, i said that a year ago and then i ripped it apart again and started again with it to get 360 BHP.

mapping something "pieced" together from a customers list of parts, which may not fit together or work together to the expectations of that customer, with potential failure and hassle to them consequently, you can see why.

Stick to kit of parts they know to work, and or have engineered themselves is going to be better for them business wise.

you can see why.
