Emission Light - 35 miles

Just collected an brand new 1.9Tdi Sport, and the emmision light has come.

Garage say they cant look at it till lMonday, but we are both at work.

We have litterally had it for 5 hours.

Is this a common problem? Did a search on the forum and have seen a few posts....

an emmision problem with a Tdi? must be a sensor... i wouldt worry about it to much just get somethink for you traveling back in (some goodies) for your motor....

Update-

Turns out a hose from the air intake had come loose, which ment more air was getting.

This made the lambda sensor have a fit - hence the light.
