Engine codes

Can anyone point me in the right direction of where i can find the engine code for my ibiza? I've searched the forum and google for quite a while and cant find anywhere that give the codes. Mines a 1999 1.4 Fresco btw.

it'll be on the inside cover of your service manual on a sticker..... or if you haven't got that, try under the carpet in the boot... should be the same sticker...

your code will be something like: AEX, APQ etc.....

I found mine on a silver and black sticker on the drivers side of the back of the engine bay (up towards the top)

Or look on your V5. It has the engine serial number or something on it.
