Engine Coolant Sensor

My engine mangement light keeps going on and off randomly but the engine does not run differently with it on or off. On my mates code reader it showed up as an Engine Coolant Sensor fault and we reset it, topped up the antifreeze. As I looked to see where the sensor is positioned and there's a plug for the sensor on top of the coolant resevoir but no sensor plugged in or near by, Does anyone with a 1.2 have a sensor here?

It was a typical seat mix and match part. Some got one, some didnt. Same with the windscreren washer fluid level sensor.

I don't think the Ibizas got the coolant reservoir level sensor. The error you have refers to the temp sensor. It's mounted on the pipework where it flows out of the engine block. There should be a couple of wires connected to it and it kind of pokes into one of the hoses. It's quite common for them to fail and there was revised sensor made.
