hello there, after suffering from misfires and attempting to change my plugs, ive noticed that the engine cover on the corby 1.6 sx makes it quite difficult to get access to your middle leads and plugs properly. Ive managed to loosed all the front bolts on the engine cover but no luck, its still on solid so obvo theres some at the back, anyone know if its gonna be a faff on getting the cover off and how many bolts n that are at the back.

heres the engine.

That aint an engine cover my friend, thats the inlet manifold!!!!

The air goes in at the back left, over the top of the engine through the four pipes you can see and into the engine. Whats holding it on will be the throttle body its attached to. Wouldn't remove it unless your 100% on how to put it back!

Ah yes, the good old AFT inlet manifold which is right in the way of the spark plugs!

I'm trying to think back to when I had to change the sparks on my AFT when I had it..... think I ended up having to take the inlet manifold off totally.... can't remember where all the bolts are though, sorry!

If you do take it off, make sure you've got a new gasket to fit when you put it all back together again!
