Engine enamel suggestions please

Im looking to paint the engine on my car ive read up loads of peoples opinions what would you suggest i use for the following on my engine, i want to paint the block silver and want the best coating i can afford,

i need ideas for

Prep kit (brushes, cleaning solutions etc)
Paint
Applications (id rather use paint that spray)

heres the companies ive found so far if you can suggest others please put other and your suggestion,

any pictures would be hugely appreciated

Im going to paint the block silver so thats a must that they do silver/aluminium colour too thanks

My mate has had good results from POR-15 on his block,. Then some strong degreaser to prep the block. Then rinse thoroughly and dry.

yeah my idea is on por-15 atm too but just want opinions

Oh yeah forgot to say, he brushed it on but you can hardly tell, i will try and find you a picture.

He did spray this but brushed other pieces and they all settled down well with hardly any brush marks left.
