engine light

just got my car back from the garage. its just had the air inlet gaskets and the air inlet manifold replaced. ive done about 20 miles since its been in the garage and the engine light has come back on. i know there is nothing wrong with the engine because the car drives perfectly and the garage checked my whole engine over as the couldnt find what was causing the problem before. does anybody know how to turn the engine light off?

If the light has come on then there must be a fault somewhere or at least a fault that hasn't been cleared. Get Vag-Com on it or take it back to the garage.

Hey,

When my car went to the garage with gasgit problems, what the guy said to me was give it a good run down a motorway for a couple of junctions, it might just be where a new part has been fitted and it doesnt recorgnise the new part? so may take a while to settle down?
