engine management light!!!!!

help

fitted gauges today

boost pipe into 007p valve top (thin) pipe.

I also turned the dump valve the correct way, i previously had it backwards.

1 Hour later, started car and the yellow engine management light is on.

Why????

Is there any loss of performance?

not that i can feel.

I was careful as i didnt know what it could be, and i dont want to make it worse.

The only thing i did engine wise is swap the d/v pipes, and fit the boost gauge pipe.

Strange, I take it you took the pipe to the gauge from the small hose on top of the DV, but like you say it shouldn't affect anything.

i checked it was all on tight and correct.

I'll see if it still stays on 2morrow

Disconnect the battery to carry out an ECU reset, then see if it come back on. If it does somethings not plumbed back in properly or there is an air leak....
