Personally i wouldn't want to run anything over 290bhp 300lbft. Some people run more without rods bending, some people run less and they snap. Engine roulette, but i wouldn't be willing to gamble
As said above, its a gamble going above 250bhp on standard internals as they are so unreliable. Ive heard of people running 250bhp and they bend, others running 300bhp fine. Go for it if you are brave but dont be shocked or upset if the rods bend
it's all down to the map, if mapped with rods in mind then 280bhp and 280-300ftlb is safe but make sure it's a nice smooth progressive map not one with a sharp spike of boost otherwise the rods will **** themselves!!
