As for the cracks i remeber reading somwhere somthing about the turbo exhaust housing cracking was a common thing...?

But id wait till somone with more knowledge maybe phillW or bill can confirm before doing anything...??

Yep is for sure a common problem with exhaust housings cracking on ko3 and ko3s.

Soz to hijack the thread but I was working on my car all day today, I noticed one of the exhaust manifold bolts have sheered off onto the block, is this an easy repair in regards to getting it out? Sorry again cupra20 for hijacking, dint see any point in starting a new thread.

No worries mate, with regards to your problem i haven't got a clue how you'd get it out to be honest. think you'd have to have the manifold off then you might be able to get on the stud thats left and remove and replace it.
