Engine sounds like it's stalling when turning off.

I am hoping this is nothing more than hypercondria as I've had a few 'issues' recently so hope you guys can give me some reassurance.

My '03 tdi 130 had a service yesterday and since then when i turn the engine off it seems to stop very abruptly as if stalling (it's running fine though).

As I say, it may have always sounded like this and I haven't noticed but I wondered if there's anything you guys may suggest I look at or possibly need to be concerned with?

Do you mean its coughing and stopping rough or something ?

Mine stops pretty dead when you turn off but you would expect that because of the high compression of a diesel.

Yeah just stopping dead. I'm sure it is normal and I've never really noticed before but everythings been packing up recently so I'm sure it's just paranoia. Cheers

I am sure thats normal on a diesel. Mine normally starts with a bit of a kick as well which once again is down to compression.
