Engine swap

Hello, I’ve got a 1.4 6l what I’m looking to engine swap as my mate is selling his Leon 1.8t aum engine, just wondering if there would have to be any changes to the engine bay or any fabrication ?

The FR came with a 1.8T engine as standard, so you'll probably need some bits off one of those to complete the conversion.

Yea as said above. You’ll need a 6L 1.8t air box. A intercooler from a 6L with boost piping will be a bonus safe you messing about. And you’ll have to think about what your gonna do about joining the exhaust to the 1.8t downpipe on your car little things like that.

I’ve got a Ibiza cupra 6L so if you need any photos when you do yours of how the engine layout is from factory shout me I’ll take some photos on my next day off work and send them over.
