Engine Vibration 1.9tdi

Just asking if the engine mounts can fail by passing a vibration you can feel in the steering wheel.
Mounts are not shagged in the classical way, i.e. the engine isn't flopping about like a landed fish.

Have you checked the tyre treads all over?

Vibration through the steering wheel? I'd think steering or wheel misalignment. Engine vibrations usually shake the whole car iirc

Sorry, just reread my question.
I didn't make clear that it was definitely a slight engine "buzz" that is now felt in the steering wheel.
Might be a heater hose or something touching the steering tube.
Was asking just in case someone had been there & done that.
