Engine Vibration

Almost every morning now, and not just cold starts, for about a sec when i turn on the motor I get a vibration coming from the engine!!! Other than that everything seems to be running perfect. (2003 LCR, 30,000mls)

Is this just a vibration through the steering wheel and pedals... if you can actually feel the engine vibrating as if it's not balanced?

No its definetly in the engine, read that some people think this mite be just a thing with these 1.8 turbo engines, something to do with the oil level????

If it was an embalance in the engine shouldnt it vibrate everytime to start it up???

This might sound daft but the plastic engine cover is on correctly isn't it? I used to have a vibration at about 1500 revs and it turned out that this cover was loose.

I'm not to sure what this could be, do you get a noise from it aswell?
