EPC light: Brake Switch Implausible Signal, brake lights work

Hi,
Recently I bought a Seat Arosa 1.4 16V sport. I bought this car with the EPC light allready on, before purchasing I scanned it using a simple OBDII scanner with gave me an EGR fault. This is quite easy to replace hence why I bought the car even though the light was on (got a good deal out of it too).
Now I have changed the EGR and because of a faulty voltage regulator I have changed the alternator aswell.
Now after clearing the codes, after about a 2km drive or a few minutes stationairy running the EPC light comes on again. I read the codes using VAGCOM 409.1, it gave me the code for a faulty brake light switch.
I replaced this with one of the brand HELLA, not sure if this is OEM but this is what the autoparts store gave me.
I have cleared the codes again but the problem stays the same, after a few minutes of running the car the EPC light pops back up with the same fault code. The brake lights work just fine. Checked all the fuses since the fuse diagram in the compartment is missing, and can't find any blown or corroded fuses.
Any one else with this problem?
Someone with a fix?
