ESC, TPMS and Headlight Range Control Error. Car not starting at first attempt but starts after a few times of taking key out and putting back in

My car after being left for an hour does not turn at all unless I remove key and put it back in multiple times and then the car starts. Tpms, esc and headlight range control errors come on and after I drive for a few mins everything clears. I have taken it garage and no fault codes store because everything clears as I drive. What could be the error, has anyone else had this issue?

No entry in the error log? I don't think so... never mind, the battery was checked? If it's OK, I would look at the contact block near the ignition key, it's called terminal X.

As Cairus has suggested, despite the lack of lights on the dash, there will 100% be some codes stored across the modules.

It might be worth having someone with VCDS/OBDELEVEN scan the car for you to get an idea of what's going on.

Hi Cairus and MJ, no codes have been stored I have had it checked with OBDEleven, everything disappears 1 min into driving. Also, I changed battery still had issue. The car does switch on I just have to pull key out and try multiple times. When the error comes on car doesn’t even crank but eventually when I can get it to crank it fires up really quick. It’s a 2014 Seat Leon 1.6 TDI Manual

It sounds like an IMO problem maybe?

I’m not 100% sure but I’ve had the error since I had 2 front tyres put on and had a rear tyre puncture repaired so I’m not sure if they damaged something and now tpms and esc errors are coming on I just don’t know.

Hi guys, I have finally figured it out and it was literally the 645 Relay under the hood, I pulled it out and wiped it and put it back in and it’s solved my problem so hopefully if anyone else has that issue it’s an easy fix👍🏽

The contacts will be burnt out on the relay.

I took that picture the other day and was going to suggest you look in that area but when you said there was no codes (which I still find difficult to believe) I chose not to send you down the potentially wrong direction.

Take it out, open the casing, if the contacts are burnt then you'll need to replace the relay, or you'll end up in the same situation again.
