Has anyone had any experience of the above? There is an installer not too far from me at Lenwade called APT.

Pretty sure it is, lots of info out there for the OP to make his mind up, all at the end of a Google search

I recall them having a good rep but being very expensive and about as helpful as toothache.

I know someone in my area who is an Evolution Chips dealer. I also know a few people who have had their cars mapped by Evo Chips and said nothing but good things.

They supplied both my Stage 1 and Stage 3 setup for my Sierra Cosworth and both were spot on. They were both supplied by Motorsport Developments who own Evolution chips i believe, although i could be wrong

I see APT in Norwich do Evolution chips. Friend mentioned them at the weekend after I said about Revo at Clive Atthowe. He said a few companies had started to drop doing Revo. Did OP go with an Evo chip?

Hi,

No I haven't had a remap yet. TBH the idea of gutting the dpf which seems essential puts me off. I don't like the idea of running illegally.

In the last year I've had brakes, cambelt, 4 tyres, and 2 bloody expensive holidays!!

I think I have decided to wait until I can afford a more appropriate (petrol) car than I will consider some tuning.

Thanks for the response chap. I had my DPF done a few years back when it failed after a £30 warranty sensor failed and SEAT wanted to charge me £1700 to replace the DPF. A trip to Shark and £650 later problem solved and no issues since. Just wanted to tweak it a little now.
