Hi guys.
I have an 11 plate exeo estate that has just started to give me problems with the central locking.
When I use the remote to open the door I can hear the locks open but instantly lock again. The button to open the boot works fine, when I hold the open or close buttons in the windows open or close which to me say they are working fine. I have changed the battery in the remote and resynced the remote to the car but the issue remains.
Any ideas on what could be causing this and how to fix it.

Hi
I have 62 ST , exactly the same thing happened to mine, it went back to the dealer, under warranty. They said they just re set it on there software. Problem sorted.
Regards

This happened to my 11 plate about a year ago after I removed the car battery. The dealer said it could only be solved by booking it in. Someone of the forum gave instructions for re-programming the fob to the car. I can't remember the details but it involved a sequence of locking and unlocking the doors with the key and fob. If you search for my post you should find it.

I have tried reprogramming the keyfob; which didn't work same issues.
I have it booked in at a dealer on Saturday morning (no Warranty) see how that goes.

I had to do mine at least twice before it worked. Give it a couple more goes before parting with your hard-earned.
