The last time my car went into the garage, (2.0TDI CAGA) it was showing a fault code for the 'intake runner control bank closed' despite no engine warning light being on, although I had noticed my fuel consumption has increased.
I've since had the engine cover off to have a quick look, and found oil/carbon deposits on the bottom corner of the EGR valve, and just below the EGR. Would this be a sign of a blocked EGR, causing the intake fault code?
