A few months ago I had to put a new exhaut on the car. The original (standard) one never stuck out past the bumer and was hidden away, which is what i liked about it. The new one is a big 5" thing. Originally my mate mounted it without the need for cuttin the bumper, he mounted it so it stuck out about an inch. Anyway, after havin it on a few days and not being used to the bigger, and now lower position of the exhaust i reversed it and rammed it on a kerb!

We've now remounted it in a high place and cut some of the bumper away. We used the cover of the towin eye as a template.

Does anyone know where I could get some kind of trim from to neaten it up. My mate just said stick a bit of vynal there (which is what he's done on his silver car and looks ok), but mine is black.

I'm kinda thinkin of a bit of trimmin like you find around the ZR's exhaust cust out

Cheers peeps

as i said when i 1st put it on. It was due to insufficient funds. My standard was ****ed and my bro had the "bean can" laying about from after writing of his fezzy!

I've never been a fan of big exhausts. due to the loudness and the fact they make you sound like your at 70 when actually at 20

this one is ok - doesnt sound loud until 3,500 rpm :p

5" may be exagerating. possibly 4"

thats how it was. but now cut away some bumper to get exhaust higher!

its just abit chav for me m8, but if you like it then thats the main thing i gess

TBH, I prfered the original look it had. Couldn't see any exhaust at all! But like I said, this was due to limited fundage at the time :(

anyway, lets get back to topic

anyone know where i can get some trim? or what could i use?

I used to have a similar exhaust on mine back in the day

When I changed to blueflame I had some serious melting issues and I wanted to get a new bumber trim but they come as part of the cupra bumper so thats a no go. All the trims I could find on other websites etc looked nasty so I left it as is.
