Exhaust has issuses!

Hi people was just driving home last night when all of a sudden it sounded like a combine harvester! Had look this morning and it's coming from the back of the engine bay on th passenger side there is what I seem to feel as a threaded hole any ideas what this is? Cheers

Sensor fallen out?

I'm guessing but my old motor had an exhaust temp sensor on the downpipe and seeing that the Cupras appear to be massively infected with sensors... maybe thats yer hole?

can you take a pic of the mentioned sensor?

You can't really see it it's like my arm at nearly full reach down to the back of the engine the lamber sensor is the one I can see onbthe drivers side right?

take it to an exhaust place and ask them to have a look, while the car is in the air, take a pic. plus they should be able to confirm what the issue is.

Try starting the engine, then carefully reach down and see if you can feel exhaust escaping from the hole. It least this'll confirm if its part of the issue or not.

Yeh that's what I did mate put my hand down to the back to notice. Sorted now tho thanks people was a sensor going AWOL lol
