Hi all.

Where would be the best place to get a diesel FR exhaust backbox?

Its needed as the standard exhaust on my Formula Sport is melting my new exhaust cover due to it being to close to the plastic( thanks Matty all recieved:D). I think the FR back box will fit, any one shed some light on this?

Thanks

ebay and the fore sale section on here is prob best!

I may be getting a mufflerectomy in summer (if i save up enough)...if so it will be posted in the F.S. section!

Just a question is your exhaust covered or does it have a shiny end:whistle:?

mixupz i wouldnt mind a nice oval tip too {josh}

Mine will be off once I have sorted my melting problem.

I have done a bit more exploring to what I want. Here is a picture of the back box required:

Now at point 11, mine is 46mm external diameter, would it be an FR box or just a standard 100bhp diesel backbox?

Thanks

will you get results from it? im interested in this method...worried about sounding like a tractor tho

apparently it may release a few bhp...

as for sound: Clicky

Im after one that bends down so that I can cover the exhaust up.

Could do, but they dont have many 2nd hand at the moment as they are a new dealer

I may wander down with a vernier gauge to measure the diameter of the exhaust, unless some one has a 100bhp diesel an would like to do it for me :D

I think the diesel/turbo models have bigger bore pipe than N/A engines.

But apparently the diesel backboxs on the petrols do make them sound nicer. ;)

I think that the diesel would fit, even if it was only the 100bhp diesel. I believe that the diameter of the Formula sport is bigger then the standard 1.4 sport.

No ones got a 100 BHP diesel, with a standard pipe have they:D so they can measure the diameter.........

hey kriso u said you got a cupra back box for sale, u have any idea if this would fit onto my 1.4 sport?
